Emma aspires to apply her creative instinct and technical expertise to every single workshop.
As she guides you through each stage of the class, you will be given a unique balance of guidance and freedom to find your unique painting style, which is key to your sense of fulfilment at the end of the session.
With degrees in Fine Art & Teaching, you can be assured you are in expert hands.
Design a Delilah
Join us for a morning of making, where you’ll explore abstract mark making and colour combinations, while learning Emma’s signature layered oil paint technique to create your very own Delilah Layer Painting.
Using a mix of oil pastels, oil paint, mediums and grounds, we’ll work through a series of paper pieces to build your confidence and then master your own finished canvas. You’ll leave with beautiful abstract paper works and a finished Delilah on canvas.
Creative Colour Class
Join us for a morning of making, where we will explore colour and experiment with different materials to build confidence in your creative abilities. You’ll leave with a finished canvas and many beautiful paper works, as well as your watercolour set and brushes to keep you making at home.
Emma has been an educator for a number of years, working with children aged from 4 years all the way up to adults. She prides herself on creating a balanced and nurturing environment of gentle guidance and exploration. She is a practising artist and has a Masters in Education and a Bachelor of Fine Art.
